Acts 3:1-5 when peter saw Jesus they saw a man injured from his mothers womb. His expectation was to receive from God. If he did not expect from him
he would have stayed impitent forever.
Pastor is always putting a demand on God so he can receive from him.
2 Cor. 3:18
Heb. 11:6 You must beleive he is a rewarder.
James 1 says the Word of God is a mirror.
Col 1:12-13 We were made in God's image as a spirit being.
As you see Christ in the Gospels you live the same way.
in John 14:26 the Spirit of truth shall teach you all things.
When we take in the Spiritual food of the word of God.
Your true food and substinance is the word of God.
The Word of God strengthens you in Jesus name.
Opens you spiritual eyes.
Change means to be transfigured, or metamophasized. Christ was transfigured. His garments were white and glorified.
Transformed like a butterfly.
Christ will transform you from being like a green puddgy cadipillar to like a butterfly.
Gen 1:26 God made man in his image after his likeness.
Ro. 8:29
As a spiritual being our purpous is the LORDS purpouse. Not to fullfill bodily needs.
Ro. 8:28
Our purpous is to be like God is in every way.
Phil. 3:21 When Christ comes he will change our Vile body to make it like his Glorious Body.
1 Cor. 6:17 He that is joined to the LORD is one spirit.
Ro. 12:2
Get out old thoughts and get in Christs new thoughts.
Eph. 4:23 tells us to be renewed in the Spirit of our mind.
Titus 3:3-4
Prov. 23:b as he thinketh in his heart so is he.
As we think determines how we are.
Zechariah 4:6 Not by might but by God's Spirit.

To change:
Take the word of Grace and apply it to your situation.
Examples and Catalysts of Change:
Heb. 6:12
1 Cor. 10:11
Look to those who have overcome issues successfully. People in the Bible.
Catalyst: is a particle with a great degree of heat that can cause a change.
Objects at rest tend to stay at rest. There are catalysts that will cause you to change and be conformed to Christ.
These examples will help break these bad patterns out of our lives. Patters of lust, anger, whatever sin.
Acts 9:Chatper 1 This is a man that needed a change and he got it.
Saul went unto the high priest. And desired of him letters to damascus.
Acts 17:2-4
Paul now wants to turn the world upside down for Christ where he formerly wanted to persecute people for following Christ.
This encounter with the risen Christ is what changed Saul.
Saul encountered Christ in:

Acts 23:11
We need to encounter Jesus.
Go to the Bible and do what he says. No matter how you feel just do it and you'll change no matter what anyone says.
John 20:19 The disciples were shut in for fear of the Jews. But then they went out boldy for Christ.
Power is a result of surrender. To Christ.
The environment where Jesus will meet you is when you are in secret.
They were in the upper room shut in, in prayer and fasting.
Life is only about Jesus.
Life is not about money, or friends, or anything else. Christ is the Goal, not means to a blessing or prosperity.
Sin, sickness and devils will go when you surrender to Christ and get consumed with him.
Emotions change last. Spend as much time with God and in his Word as you can.
Get rid of the old and get in the new.
Prov. 4 says Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of the life.
The devil will try to come against you right away.
Saying, see if you were changed, that thought wouldn't come. Not telling you that he put it there.
Or saying see if you were changed, that person wouldn't have treated you that way. Not telling you he inspired the anger.
In the new testament church in Acts they were in the upper room for 10 days.
