The Secret of the Lord in our year of Great Reward
2 Peter 3:17-18
In order not to fall away from our own steadfastness by the error of the wicked we must "GROW" in the grace of God and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
If we do not choose and commit to doing this we will be lead away by the error of the wicked, into sin and unless we recover into Hell.
1 How do we biblically grow in grace?
2 How do we biblically grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ?
3 How do we grow in the secret that will enable us to grow in Christs grace and knowledge and keeps us from falling from our own steadfastness and being
taken away with the error of the wicked?
Zechariah 12:10 Grace is not just a biblical principal. Grace is a biblical person.
"the Spirit of Grace and Supplication" God the Holy Ghost himself.
John 1:29
Redemption is a person who does the work in our lives.
The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Grace.
Grace is a person who brings help into our lives.
When the Word of God comes to you he is giving you what you need to exceed in your life.
Grace is not just a principal.
Grace is a person, God the Holy Ghost himself.
Heb. 10:29 Talks about the "Spirit" of Grace again here.
Grace is not just a principal but a divine person the Holy Ghost.
Grace is a person, so when you walk away from God into sin, you are walking away from a person, which is God, not just a principal.
God the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Grace.
How do we biblically grown in the knowledge of Jesus Christ?
1 Cor. 2:11-13
God is a person and his kingdom is followed by his person, not just principal.
How to grow?
1 Cor. 2:11-13 we must be biblically persuaded
John 1:14 What is written must become flesh and live in us, through us naturaly it must live through us.
How do we Grow in the Knowledge of Christ? It is knowledge of a person.
Our walk with christ must grow from paper to person.
Christ is not a concept but the living word.
Our walk with Christ must grow from paper to relating to a living person.
Philippians 1:18-19
Paul was in prison here, and he believe that through the power of prayer he would be delivered.
We have encountered the Spirit of Jesus Christ. You need to know him personally and intimately.
1 Cor. 12:3-6
The Holy Ghost is the manifestor of all of God's plans. The flood, and all the creation.
1 John 5:7 God is God. Jesus is God. The Holy Ghost is God.
Matthew 12:34 Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Eph. 1:
Analogy: A week ago he took his wife out to eat. And they ordered food but when they ordered they never saw the owner of the establishment or the chef.
All they dealt with was the waiter who brougth the will and vision and plan of the owner. WIthout the waiter they would not have seen the owners plan
and will or work. It was the waiter who brought together everything. Ps. 24:1 God the Father is the Owner he is the posessor. The Earth is the Lords.
He is the owner and planner. Hes the one whose will must be prayed, planned in heaven and in earth.
The Fathers the one who wills, Christ the one who works out that will.
The Holy Ghost is the presenter.
Eph. 1:15-23
All things have been put under Christs feet.
We have to know God intimately.
The Holy Ghost is the SPIRIT of Wisdom and Revelation.
How do we grow in the Relationship with the Holy Ghost. 1 Cor. 2:12
We must biblically receive the Holy Ghost as the Word of God teaches.
John 14:15
Acts 2:37
Pray for Christs character and power to take the world for him.
He that worketh righteousness is accepted of him.
Acts 2:4 They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and as a result Peter stood up and preached to 3000 souls who got saved.
Acts 10:34-36
Repent and be baptized. Keep Christ Commandments. Obey the Lord. We must put away all sin and obey him for him to dwell in our lives.
Eph 1:14
Ask the Father to fill you with the Holy Ghost.
Mark 11:22 You must Believe the Lord that you have received what you have asked of him. Then act in obediance.
We must biblically receive the Holy Ghost. John 14:26 When the Holy Ghost comes he will teach you all things.
When scriptures come to your mind in correct biblical context it is the Holy Ghost or God.
He is everywhere and he will be with you as much as you choose to be with him.
After receiving the Holy Ghost, commune with the Holy Ghost. Worship the Holy Ghost.
In God have I put my trust. Take time in the Word, delight in the Word, live on the Word.
Ps. 46:10 Be still and know that I am God I will be exalted among the heather and all the earth.
We need to hear and obey the Holy Ghost. Philippians 2:1-3 Fellowship with the Holy Ghost. He's a person. He's more real than you and I.
Make God your schedule into which you fit people as he leads you.
Grace is not a principal Grace is a person.
Growth in Christ is not just growth in principals but growth in a person.
1. Receive the Holy Ghost biblically.
2. Biblically receive the Holy Ghost how he biblically relates to us according to how the scripture says.
3. Talk to the Holy Ghost.
