Message Title: The Lords will for us to biblically grow and increase in every area of our lives
Church Notes from 01/28/24		The Lord Through Minister Brent

Ps. 92:12-15
One way we grow and increase biblically is by being planted in the house of the LORD.

10 years ago when Minister Brent was not planted in the house of the LORD he was was diminished.
Matthew 12:18 upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail agaist it.
Palm trees need a lot of sunlight and a lot of water. We will get the water of God's Word in the House of the LORD and flourish thereby.
A palm tree is very hard to uproot. It can survive winds of huricanes. As we are planted in the house of the LORD we will be like the Palm Tree Ps.12
One way we remain righteous is by being planted in the house of the LORD. It helps us remain righteous. 
1 Timothy 3:15 says that the house of the LORD is the Church of God not your own home or the bar. 
John 8:32-36
Sampson: You do not see Sampson going to the Temple of the Church. He did not have other brothers to lean on, or a church.
He assembled with Delilah a philistine woman. And the pilars of the philistines fell on him and killed him.
If we are not planted in the house of the Lord we will find our selves bound by sin and the gates of Hell will prevail against us.
As people leave, when Minister Brent sees them again, they are usually in some sin, and not prospering the way the LORD wants them to, instead having problems.
Col. 2:19 
Jesus the head of the Body of Christ, by the band of Joints (the Pastors, evaneglists, teachers) are there to grow us in Christ, and they Knit us together
in Faith to cause growth and increase in God. 
Eph. 4:11-15
Because it's the LORDS will for us to be planted in the house of the LORD, the Devil does NOT want us to be planted here, rather he wants to transplant
people into his Churches of Sin or Falsehood.
Jude 1:19 These be they who separate themselves who are sensual and have not the spirit. They are walking after their senses. (Too Tired, dont want to etc.)
1 John 5:4 (The Victory that overcomes the World) Praying in the Spirit to build themselves up.
The church of Jesus is the place where we are going to get God's correction and refinement. One of the ways he does that is through the Leadership in the Church.
The enemy will use (offense) to try and stop God's growth in you. Don't take offense just take reproof humbly and grow by the grace of God.
Being planted in the House of the Lord is not just for our sake, it's for God's Glory.

2 Peter. 3:17 Do not be led away with the error of the wicked, or fall from your own steadfastness.
v 18 By Growing in the grace and knowledge of JC.
Grace in Greek is Karase which meanse divine refelction on the heart and the expresion of it in the infulence of the life.
Grow means to enlarge, We must enlarge the grace.
Knowledge means to know. We must grow in our knowing of JC.
The Lord doesnt want us to get puffed up and stop growing because he is infinate. There is an infinate amount we can grow in him.
The LORD never gives us a limit, he says to go forward.
The Lord wants us to go forward in all situations.
Phil. 3:13 Paul was used the most and he has choosing to look forward to future accomplishments, not at past failures.
He was pressing forward to JC himself, not the the world or its standards. 

	Today we will look at: How biblical Growth may look so we can examine our lives to see if were going backwards or standing still.
The epistles were writing to different churches.
For example in the epistels of 1st and 2nd Corinthians Paul was writing to these churches which came out of a heathan religion.
There was much more immorallity there, they were used to worshiping devils and fornicating.
Ro. 12:1-2
Our minds should be renewed over time. Our desires and our minds are changing on how we look at the world. You should start to see the world from a Biblical viewpoint instead of a worldly viewpoint. As you renew your mind you start to desire God's things where as before they may have not seemed appealing.

The Lord will make it so that as you will renew your mind so you will detest pornography or alchohol if you did those things before you were saved.
Example: A guy who changed his name to Peter Barjonus was big into smoking cigarets, and the someone said to him the LORD will take the taste of Cigartes
out of your mouth. At some point after that, he could not taste the cigartte, and took another and tried to smoke it and could not taste it. 
The Lord was renewing his mind and he had new desires. He desired to be at church, to read the word, to pray. 

Before Dan was saved he used to be a Roman Catholic and had to renew his mind to instead of going through their things he trusted the LORDs word.

Ro. 14:1 As the persons mind is renewed the devil may try to condem them for doing the Lords will by his word. 

Philippians 2:12-13 
As we do that we know to do the Lord will grow us so we can do more for him.

Go forward and the Lord will grow you in the grace and knowledge of him.
